REFERRAL PROGRAM – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Valid for bookings made until 30 May 2027, for travel taking place in 2026 or 2027

1. Overview of the Program

The Itaca Tours Referral Program (“the Program”) rewards any individual (“Referrer”) who introduces a new client (“Referred Client”) that completes a Qualified Booking.

Both the Referrer and the Referred Client receive a 5% discount on one future eligible booking.

The Program is open to:

  • Existing clients, and
  • New clients booking with Itaca Tours for the first time, as long as they refer someone who completes a Qualified Booking.

2. Eligibility Requirements

  • A Referrer may be either:
    • an existing Itaca Tours client, or
    • a new client making their first booking.
  • The Referred Client must be someone who has never booked with Itaca Tours before.
  • The Referred Client must mention the Referrer at the time of the initial consultation or before the booking process begins. Referrals cannot be applied retroactively.
  • Self-referrals are not permitted.

3. Qualified Booking Criteria

A booking qualifies only if it meets all of the following conditions:

  • The total trip value must be USD $3,000 or higher.
  • The trip must be a tailor‑made package curated by Itaca Tours.
  • The package must include at least:
    • Accommodation + Activities/Tickets (e.g., guided tours, museum tickets, excursions, experiences, event tickets).
  • Bookings consisting solely of flights, accommodation, activities, transportation, or any other standalone services do not qualify.
  • The booking must be confirmed and fully paid according to Itaca Tours’ standard payment terms.

4. Discount Details

  • Both the Referrer and the Referred Client receive a single-use 5% discount applicable to one future eligible booking.
  • The discount is valid for bookings made until 30 May 2027, for travel taking place in 2026 or 2027.
  • The discount is non-transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for any other benefit.
  • Only one discount may be applied per trip. Discounts cannot be combined, accumulated, or used alongside other promotions, partner deals, or special offers.
  • The discount applies only to the base trip price and excludes taxes, fees, insurance, optional add-ons, or third‑party charges.

5. Redemption Conditions

  • The Referrer will receive their discount code or voucher after the Referred Client completes a Qualified Booking.
  • The Referred Client may use their 5% discount on their first booking, provided it meets the Qualified Booking criteria.
  • Each discount code is valid for one booking only and expires automatically on 30 May 2027.

6. Limitations and Exclusions

The Referral Program is intended exclusively for individual leisure travel and cannot be applied to corporate travel arrangements, business travel accounts, incentive travel, or any group travel negotiated under special terms or contractual conditions. Bookings made through third‑party platforms, external travel agencies, or any channel other than direct communication with Itaca Tours are not eligible for participation in the Program. Only tailor‑made packages curated by Itaca Tours that meet the Qualified Booking criteria may benefit from the referral discount.

Referral activity must reflect genuine personal recommendations. Any behaviour that appears fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or commercially motivated—including but not limited to self‑referrals, reciprocal referral exchanges, referral chains, or attempts to manipulate the Program for financial gain—may result in immediate disqualification from the Program and cancellation of any issued discounts. Itaca Tours reserves full discretion to determine whether a referral is legitimate and may request additional information or documentation to verify the identity of both the Referrer and the Referred Client, as well as the authenticity of their relationship.

The Program is not valid in circumstances where its application would conflict with legal, regulatory, or supplier‑imposed restrictions, nor in cases where the discount would compromise compliance with travel industry regulations, consumer protection rules, or contractual obligations with partner providers. Itaca Tours may refuse the application of the referral discount if doing so would breach any such obligations or if the booking falls outside the scope of services eligible under the Program.

7. Program Duration and Modifications

The Referral Program will remain in effect until 30 May 2027, after which it will automatically expire unless Itaca Tours decides to extend or renew it. During the validity period, Itaca Tours retains full discretion to modify the structure, conditions, or benefits of the Program, as well as to suspend or terminate it at any time if operational, regulatory, or business considerations require such action. Any modification may include, without limitation, changes to eligibility criteria, discount values, redemption rules, or the definition of a Qualified Booking.

While Itaca Tours may implement changes without prior notice, such modifications will not affect referral discounts that have already been issued before the effective date of the change. All discounts granted prior to any modification will remain valid under the terms that applied at the time they were issued, provided they are redeemed within the Program’s established validity period. Itaca Tours is not responsible for any consequences arising from the expiration, alteration, or discontinuation of the Program, and participation in the Program does not guarantee the continued availability of any specific benefit.

8. GDPR and Data Protection

All personal data collected in connection with the Referral Program is processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Participation in the Program requires that the Referred Client voluntarily provide the name of the Referrer for the sole purpose of validating the referral. Itaca Tours will not disclose, share, or use the personal data of either the Referrer or the Referred Client for any purpose other than administering the Program, unless explicit consent has been obtained or such processing is otherwise permitted by law.

Both parties acknowledge that the referral relationship must be communicated directly by the Referred Client, and Itaca Tours will not contact any individual based solely on information provided by a third party without prior consent. Personal data will be stored securely, retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes of the Program, and handled in accordance with our internal data protection procedures. Individuals may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection at any time by contacting Itaca Tours through the channels indicated in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions, as well as any rights, obligations, or disputes arising from or connected to the Referral Program, shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disagreement or claim related to the Program will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection regulations. By participating in the Program, both the Referrer and the Referred Client acknowledge and agree that the legal framework of the United Kingdom applies to all aspects of the Program, regardless of the participant’s country of residence.

10. Acceptance of Terms

Participation in the Referral Program constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. By submitting or redeeming a referral, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all provisions contained herein, including any future updates or modifications made in accordance with Section 7. If a participant does not agree with these Terms & Conditions, they should refrain from taking part in the Program. Continued participation following any modification of the Program will be deemed acceptance of the revised Terms & Conditions.

11. Relationship with General Terms & Conditions

These Referral Program Terms & Conditions operate as a complementary legal framework to the Itaca Tours General Terms & Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the two documents, the specific provisions contained in these Referral Program Terms & Conditions shall prevail with respect to all matters relating to the Program. All other aspects of the booking, including payment terms, cancellation policies, service conditions, and traveller responsibilities, remain governed by the General Terms & Conditions. Participants are encouraged to review both documents to fully understand their rights and obligations when booking with Itaca Tours.

These Referral Program Terms & Conditions were last updated on 23 June 2026. Itaca Tours may revise or update these Terms & Conditions periodically in accordance with Section 7. The version published on the Itaca Tours website at the time of participation shall be deemed the applicable and binding version.
